Good job on the plugin. I haven't tested it, but it looks promising.
I suggest you convert it into a complete plugin, by adding a WEC page and an info.php and if it works I can upload it to the svn, so that it will be part of the regular distribution. Look at apple-trailers for a model of a complete plugin.

Let me know if you want me to upload it to svn (you'd have to maintain it afterwards).

Can this work if we have a paid premium account to a file sharing site like megaupload or wupload? Where can we put the login info?

Nice, some interesting media sources there and defo worth a look

It would be cool if you could take second pass on it as mad_ady suggested and add the registration infrastructure, WEC, info and config - WEC supports a multi choice combo so you could go that route for allowing a user to select the specific sites and managed through an initial menu

Maybe a second pass on externalizing some of those imbedded categorizations too for a more dynamic approach - I can help with scrapers although I'm sure your familiar given you have assembled the entries for imdb etc... there are a couple of plug-ins the repository that include scrapers with a cache to file if that sounds like something that would fit your needs here

Good stuff, and welcome aboard

I can also help with badge art too should you need that

Looks interesting, is it normal that I don't have a file called umsp.php in conf/ (I had to create it in my case)?
It shows up in the webend but it doesn't actually show up as a UMSP plugin when the box is on.

its normal, if you don't have one then just create it although there are mechanisms that negate the use of the file
if you have cycles, apparently there are those that don't, search the forums or checkout the Wiki for alternative methods of getting a plug-in recognized

This worked great, then I went to the IceFilms directory on my WD TV and is said "Please update your link to goo.gl/750hz.

I think its now blocked or no longer working...

Edit: After checking the php, it appears this has something to do with the date Dec 9, 2011 pasted inside this code...not sure why that is needed....

http://goo.gl/0Lyya was what I used originally using wget

All the videos fetched by this plugin are hosted in megaupload. Few days ago, megaupload changed the design (and the html) of their site and an update of the plugin was needed in order to stream the videos. The plugin in your wd checks randomly this forum thread for new versions of itself. The message you have seen is noticing you that a new version of the plugin exists (updated Dec 12, 2011). The url http://goo.gl/750hz is just a shorted version of the url of this thread. Follow the instructions at the top and wget the new plugin file into /tmp/umsp-plugins/noname/noname.php.
