I've added PANDORA=OFF to 0.4.2.2, which disables that process and hides the menu icon too ;)

When 0.4.2.2 is released, you'll have to do this to add it to the enabled plugins--since its a system plugin it does not expose itself through the WDTVExt Plugins menu

Code: Select all
grep -q /wdtvext/plugins/HidePandora.plugin.js /conf/wdtvext-plugins
[ "$?" == "1" ] && echo /wdtvext/plugins/HidePandora.plugin.js >> /conf/wdtvext-plugins

and to disable Pandora:
Code: Select all
config_tool -c PANDORA=OFF

This setting requires a reboot to work.

Thanks; any ETA on 4.2.2? It'll help us decide if we should try and bugfix 4.2.1 or wait on 4.2.2 :)

i guarantee that you privately bugfixing 0.4.2.1 will not help 0.4.2.2 get out the door any quicker. The more I have to debug & patch, completely by myself, the longer it takes, easy as that. ;)

Ah, by 'us' I meant a couple of us in work that both have a WDTVlive, not the forum - there is a lot of helpful information that _might_ fix some of the problems, but if .2 is a week out then it's worth living with them a while longer, if it's 2 months out then that changes things a little :)
