Ultimate Glass variations by Clemery

Postby Clemery » Mon Jun 14, 2010 12:05 am

Hi all...

I have made some variations to the Ultimate Glass series of sheets (originally created by Dribbler1, and later updated by Diviance) to maximise the use of SHEET mode and, as such, are designed for use with SHEET mode only. I use these sheets with a set of media icons created by A.D. that are included in the pack.
Also, my movies are stored in individual movie folders that all reside in a MOVIES folder. An example of my folder structure is below:

- MOVIES
-- Avatar
----- 1. Avatar 1080p.jpg
----- 1. Avatar 1080p.mkv

-- Terminator, The

I recommend numbering the media files contained within the folders for a couple of reasons... firstly, if you intend to contain multiple media items in a folder, it is an easy way to keep them displayed in the order you wish; and secondly, quite often a foldersheet can be replaced with the last moviesheet (in alphabetical order) contained within the folder. Numbering the media files themselves will guarantee that this won't be an issue, as long as you don't number the folder itself. Check the Avatar folder structure above for an example.

Examples:

Clemery's Custom FOLDER SHEET:

Clemery's Ultimate MOVIE SHEET:

These sheets allow me to have up to four separate media files contained within. Look at my Avatar folder structure above, and the 'sheets with thumbs' below for a clear example. If you would like to have more media files contained within your folder, you can use the Trailers sheet below, which pretty much just removes the screenshots and subtitle panels and expands the thumbnail panel.

Clemery's Ultimate TRAILER SHEET:

Clemery's Ultimate TV SHEETS (Folder/Season/Episode):

Here are some screenshots of these sheets with Thumbs:

A special thanks to A.D. for creating the icons for me (I hope you can see how invaluable they were to my overall theme)... and of course to Dribbler for creating the original (and awesome) Ultimate Glass templates.

Peace out,
Clemery.

Hi,
i've been using the "ultimate tv episode" template and it all works great and looks fine. the problem i have is with the "certification" area of the template. the symbol is not displaying and there is no text in the box, the text box itself is cut off where the symbol should appear giving a sort of sideways "U" shape if you see what i mean. i'd like to use uk cert if possible but its not important. the main thing is that it looks incomplete at the moment.

anyone else had this problem or can suggest a fix?

thanks a lot.

I personally prefer the Australian classifications myself, and how I do that is by manually entering the certification (e.g. G, PG, M, MA, R) into the Certification field in Movie Information (using ThumbGen of course!).

It may be that the UK certification logos were not included in the template pack I used for my alterations. When I get the chance I'll try to correct this, but if someone else wants to help out in the meantime, then please do!

Cheers!

hey guys,
maybe a real noobish question but

i am using this msheet template and i cant seem to get the thumbnails on the bottom bar
so its showing an empty box any ideas?

this is how my S00custom-options looks
Code: Select all
## Movie sheet modes (only one can be enabled at a time)
## unless you have sheets for each mode you will encounter oddities switching around modes
## AKA this isn't magic
##   Full screen std mode:
#config_tool -c MSHEETMODE=std
##   1280x460 (horizontal banner at top) sheet mode:
config_tool -c MSHEETMODE=sheet
##   500x720 (vertical banner on right) wall mode:
#config_tool -c MSHEETMODE=wall

## turn on moviesheets for a list type  (ON/OFF)
## you must turn it on for a view type to see sheets!
##   video thumb mode
config_tool -c VIDMSHEET=ON
##   audio/photo thumb mode
#config_tool -c GENMSHEET=ON
##   list mode (video/audio/photo)
#config_tool -c LISTMSHEET=ON

## enable a central moviesheet repository
## allows all moviesheets to exist in one location
config_tool -c MSHEETDIR=/tmp/UBUNTU-SERVER/Sheets/

## enable auto framerate/resolution functionality
#### keeps OSD at menu selected resolution,
#### but changes to suit every viewed video
#### also downmixes multi-channel AAC -> stereo, so that it plays on the wdtv
## to customize settings edit /conf/autores.conf
#config_tool -c AUTORES=ON

## enable auto-zoom overscan fix
#### this setting zooms out automatically the
#### number of times below, when videos are played
#config_tool -c DEFAULT_ZOOM=1

## change list view to 4/6/8/11 entries
#config_tool -c LISTNUM=4
#config_tool -c LISTNUM=6
#config_tool -c LISTNUM=8
#config_tool -c LISTNUM=10   (default)
#config_tool -c LISTNUM=11
#config_tool -c LISTNUM=12

## change video thumb view to various amounts of thumbs
#THUMBRESO=120x160 has been removed due to OSD crashing issues
#config_tool -c THUMBRESO=150x200   # 12
#config_tool -c THUMBRESO=163x245   # 8   (default)
#config_tool -c THUMBRESO=180x240   # 10
#config_tool -c THUMBRESO=225x300   # 4
config_tool -c THUMBRESO=240x360   # 4

hi,

i know this topic is old, but i seem to have the same problem with thye thumbnails as posted above...
i did select standard in webend to make the right sheet appear, but then the lower window (where the covers should show up) is empty.
i'm using the sheets with the 3 fanarts and the cover section on the left bottom. do i need to alter anything in webend, other than the sheet mode?
i am using webend, btw... not s00 options (have no idea how this works).

PS: can i change the resolution of the sheets somewhere? they don't look right to me, as they are kinda grainy and edgy, and i can't see the outside border (glass frame stretches to the border of the screen).
tv (lg 42'' plasma) is set to 16:9, so i think this should be right...

thanx,

hi,

did some more experimenting, and the pics look much better now.
i noticed the wd was set to the right hdmi mode (1080) but it was on 50hz, so i changed that to 1080i 60hz and that made a big difference.

so all i need to know now is how to make the covers show up in the left bottom window.
can any1 help me out here?

thanx,

Have a look at that section and figure it out yourself

hi,

thanx for the reply...

however, i fail to see how this is gonna help.
with the clemery templates, one should use standard mode. but somehow clemery gets the covers to show up in the right spot (see screenshots). i have no idea how to do this...
i see the right sheet (cover + 3 fanarts + cover window) when set to standard mode. but the cover window stays empty.
do i need to edit some text in some file in order to make the covers appear in the small left bottom window?

sorry if this sounds dumb, but i'm like a virgin when it comes to linux and all wdtv scene.

thanx,
