I recentley made the switch from Windows to Kubuntu. In windows I had a plethora of audio video tools that I sometimes had to rely on to make certain videos WD Live friendly. For example, sometimes I have videos that play the video stream fine, but not the audio. In this case I ran the MKV through something like GotSent or more recentley I find that I need to run the video through "Redbox.NET"(Link) to remux the video, then I have to run the resulting MP4 through MKVMerge to clean it up so to speak and make the video WD Live friendly. Fortunatley this method does not rencode the video, only the audio which help eliminate some of the time needed. It may sounds like alot of work, but it is merley a few clicks and a short time but it works.
Anyways, can any one recomend some comparable linux native apps? I tried using GotSent and Redbox.NET under Wine as temp solutions but they fail to run.
