@Martin_L,

I know it takes a long time for me to get to things, I'm just now starting to really look at what you've done here

can I ask that all config options be moved to WEC

config_tool -c WEBPLAYER_ALLOWED_TYPES=
config_tool -c WEBPLAYER_ROOT_DIR=

also the other items in the app itself
Endless Play
Immediate Play

Hello KAD,

I will add these options when I have the time. I am having a hard schedule with my actual job and I can not find much time for advancing the app.

Take care.

The link for the app.bin @ https://sites.google.com/site/wdlxtvliveexperiences/projects/webplayer-jukebox seems to be dead. Is there another link for this anywhere?

@Martin_L - Nice app! There is a limitation for us on iOS devices as the menu cannot be scrolled so only the first 8 albums can be selected from my library when creating the playlist. Same is true once the playlist is created in that only the first 8 songs can be selected.

Would it be possible to add a button at the top of the menu which selects the next 8 entries for display as a substitute for the lack of a scroll capability? It really is a severe restriction thanks to the Apple folks!

Cheers, Calypso

Hey there, great app, just what I looked for to get an airtunes-like workflow.

Unfortunately, for me it only plays one song in the playlist, then stops.
I'm browsing a local hfs+ drive in folder mode, add a complete folder to the playlist, then hit play. Always stops after one song.
I'm a noob to this, don't know if it depends on other settings...

Sorry guys, I am still swamped with work.

@calypso,
It is strange. Which system are you using? I have tested the app with an iPod and it scrolls whitout problem. I also was testing it in Safari (Windows) while I was developing it.
(by the way... it plays the sequence of tracks or just one for you? I am trying to catch that problem).

@andi_s
You are experiencing a problem that also happens to KAD. I do not know why, but the problem is that the program fails to register to the WD's DLNA renderer.
You could write me a PM describing which apps are you concurrently running (and WDLXTV version). May be we can find common things between you and KAD that explain the problem. I am very busy lately though. So please be (very) patient.

Best,

my intial thought is that WD has changed something which effects upnp behavior on 1.05.04 firmwares
I have not tested your app on some of the older firmwares
but I've found some items possible on 1.02.21 are no longer possible on 1.05.04

example - upnp behavior on 1.02.21 would allow me to do photo slideshows via upnp
but the behavior on 1.05.04 will not

@KAD
My current system (and the one I used for developing the app) is Firmware: FW Base: 1.05.04 Current version: 0.5.1.1.
I have not tested with other different versions, so I can not tell.

Thanks for the thoughts!
