Hi

I've installed 1.05.04_V_WDLXTV.COM_WDLXTV_LIVE-0.5.1.1 and added movie info using Thumbgen. However I do have a problem.

When I watch anything once the film is going the WDTV Live controls freeze, so although I can continue to watch I can't pause, stop or rewind etc. Infact even the power button stops working and the only way I can regain control is to power cycle. Once i re-power it all works ok again until I watch something.

Is this an issue you have come across before?

I have the same problem. But the issue apear today. Yesterday I can see all movies without problems. but the only think I do it today was create movie sheet with tumbgen but I do not know if it couses this issue.
The panel freeze at start of the movie and the control do not works. for nothing. Youtube works fine and do not crash. All remote control funtions do not works.

a system crash like that can be any number of things, I'd start by removing / disabling osd.bin app.bin or other addons that you're using

how I can do it? I only installed some UPMS clients. No other thing I touch in the device. I use the OSD theme for default I not installed any app.bin

Tip of the day:
If your WDLXTV starts acting weired and it seems only YOU are affected (others can't reproduce the problem),
here's what to do first (best in this order and check after each step with full reboot):

• Reset to factory settings in OSD (Settings->System Setting->Reset to factory defaults)
• Delete any .wd_tv folder you find on any drives (and shares if r/w) connected to WDTV
• Complete Config Reset (WEC->Config->Reset Everything)

Please let me know,if this version is working good for new box , WD Live TV Streaming media player(2012).
Is is just simply copy on usb,insert in WD usb port and will install???

I thought I'd bring my WD up2 date, as I'm updating all my network kit, and I installed the 1.05.04_V-WDLXTV-Live-0.5.1.1 version - it lost my USB attached RAID.
So I've tried 1.05.04_V_WDLXTV.COM_WDLXTV_LIVE-0.5.0.0 & 1.02.21_WDLXTV.COM_WDLXTV_LIVE-0.5.1.1 - both with same result - loses my RAID.
I've reverted back to 1.02.21_WDLXTV.COM_WDLXTV_LIVE-0.4.7.3 - and my RAID is mounted.

As there is no USB device listed to be able to eject - it's not picking it up at all for some reason?

It works great, just not with newer firmware.

WDTV Live Streaming is not supported atall by WDLXTV!
