Firmware 1.0.6.15_v

Hello

I have the Firmware 1.0.6.15_v on WD TV LIVE and try to put the wdlxtv 1.02.... and 1.05 ... the device doesn't recognize the fw ,i change the ver file and try on different usb the device doesn't upgrade .
Can some one help me? Or i have to whait for the realese of version 1.06 wdlxtv?

Please explain exactly how you edited your .ver file?

I guess you did't change the ver file, to also include _v

in your case change the ver file to contain
VERSION='1.06.18_v.WDLXTV_PLUS-0.4.7.3'
instead of
VERSION='1.06.18.WDLXTV_PLUS-0.4.7.3'
That should do it.

Double check the correct version of the firmware you are trying to put on the box.

probaly is wong but i will try 1.06.18 with out v

it is _V not _v
linux is case sensitive so this might make a difference

i put this on ver file VERSION='1.06.17_V.WDLXTV_LIVE-0.5.0.0'
LOCATION='wdtvlive.bin'
the wd still dont recognize and now takes long time to loading.i think is briked?what i can do to reverse the problem?

Factory reset? We can't guess what you already did to your poor WD TV

I think we can rule out any bug in WDLXTV since you are still on official...

is alive again i i did the factory reset on the buton and reinstall the original fw just change the ver file and the wd acepted. the major problem was issues on wifi network

Probably with the 1.06 the wd dont recognize Brad fw ,the ver file is diferent VERSION='1.06.15_V'
