That's because 0.4.7.3 was actually a branch, not a direct export from SVN trunk. It was 0.4.7.2 on top of which some hand-picked patches were applied.

No, that means 0.4.7.3 is not based on an SVN snapshot - it's 0.4.7.2 with only some specific patches manually applied.

To rephrase my question. If I pack latest svn snapshot will I have 4.7.3 plus all additonal development.
I am aware that version number is not updated on svn but are files corrected in 4.7.3 there.

Yes. All of our commits are made to the SVN trunk as you can see, beside whatever side-projects devs might have still on their own computers/WDTV. The patches applied to 0.4.7.2 to generate 0.4.7.3 are also on the SVN trunk.

So trunk isn't based on the most recent wdtv code?

svn is laways most recent version, /conf_src/version only gets updated on release.
