Plugin: Weather

Sorry to be a bit dim with this question......

I''ve started using the Webend to configure my WD TV Live and therefore the S00custom-options file has been DISABLED, so how do I now localise the weather plugin for my area. Surely if I re-enable the S00custom-options file all my configurations will revert to what's contained in the S00custom-options file and then as soon as I re-configure using the webend then this will be disabled and the localised string I've inserted into it will be ignored.

I'm using the 1.02.21-WDLXTV-Live-0.4.5.3 version of the firmware.

I'm sure there's a simple answer but appreciate some advice.

Just make sure every S00custom entries are commented out (begin with a #), and that way only the new entries will be executed.

WEC will only disable it on the next time you will access it (precisely to avoid having people revert changes they did through WEC by rebooting with an old, stale S00custom-options), so if you edit S00custom-options then reboot immediately, you'll be fine.

Weather v. 0.4
Plugin finally in SVN.
So you can just use WDTVExt Menu for download or update Weather plugin.(Only for 1.02.21-WDLXTV-Live-0.4.5.(1)3)
CHANGES:

• Added Weather plugin configuration via WEC.(WDLXTV Configuration in WebEnd 1.02.21-WDLXTV-Live-0.4.5.3(1) )
  Now don't need to use S00custom-options, but can be used too.


• Some graphic changes (icons only)

Try to install or update from svn via WDTVExt Plugins Menu and feedback. (Somebody test this please on 0.4.2.2 how its work on old fw)

Is this the menu on the WDTV? I still see v0.3 on there. Or would it still download v0.4 even though it says v0.3?

Strange. Try to disable Weather plugin v0.3 first.
Then select Download plugins or Update plugins. Then reboot.
Or even disable and remove Weather folder from /.wdtxext-plugins reboot and Download new Weather v0.4 plugin via WDTVExt Plugins->Download Plugins Menu.
P.S. And I think we talk about FW like 1.02.21-WDLXTV-Live-0.4.5.3

I tested 0 .4 Weather plugin .
First i deleted the old one.
I see on my TV this: Weather
version 0.4

i download the new version, directly from the device. Hard reboot, and............nothing change it`s working like 10 minute`s ago, except some icons. the obiective for this change it`s to integrate with WEC!!............Good JOB!!

Do not forget to verify WEC, u can change your zip code and F to C faster and more easy.

I work with WDLXTV live boot, from HDD (1Tb)

finally found time to get the other version working just last week, I even did up an edited xml to be compatible with my new osd

Right on. That's what I was missing. Works great and beautiful integration in the WEC for ease of use.

here's the xml I did to go with this, it's a small edit, moves the text just enough to be compatible with my new osd mod

OK, so I am confused.

I have Weather 0.4 installed and I have this code in config file:

WEATHER_ID='US|IL|AURORA|60503|'
METRIC_ID='0'

I get nothing. Can someone maybe tell me what I am missing.

Running: 1.02.21.WDLXTV_LIVE-0.4.5.3

I have tried through S00-Customs and through Webend. Let me know if you need more info.
