I'm not sure why you've put youtube quality on 720p instead on 1080p if you want youtubeHD ?

Secondly - why is your youtube-id & key empty? Search the forum on how to 'reset' them! Without key = no music!

I have now chanced from 720p to 1080p.
And i have tried to find a way to to 'reset' the Id / key , but i cant find what to use .
The only thing i fund was this
YOUTUBE_DEVICEKEY='/Zh5QzN... and YOUTUBE_DEVICEID='AOuj_RpDzv
Can i use this in my machine ???.

S00custom-options is disabled by the web configurator to avoid having one override the other. S00custom-options is an artifact of the past, usually only needed for special cases.

As for your Youtube key, search these forums - the procedure to generate new keys has been posted many times before. In fact, that very question is even answered in this specific thread.


KK: I also set it to 720P instead of 1080P, as I see little to no difference, and playback is usually much smoother (seems like Youtube's 1080P servers are often streaming slower than their 720P servers for me)

Hello and thanks for answering RMerlin !!
I finaly got youtube to work !!

i updated the wdtv whit the latest original firmware ,then i installed 1.02.21_WDLXTV.COM_WDLXTV_LIVE-0.4.5.1 insted of the WDLXTV_LIVE-0.4.5.3.
So like i said youtube works great now,But now i cant se my movie sheets ??

You said that S00custom-options is an artifact of the past ,what can i do or use instead , and how do i do it .
So i can se my movie sheets again ??

Enter your WDTV's IP address in a web browser. Username and password are documented in the firmware's README.

Thank you for taking your time to answer my questions.
I have only one more , and i would be very happy if you could help me??.

I logged in to the wdtv ,but i cant find a way to get my sheets to work.
I have been reading here in the forum but i cant get it work anyway.
I tried without the S00 file ,and whit the file.
I have chanced back an forth inside the wdtv,but still i dont get it.
So if you have the time ,please help me , my wife are bugging me for spending all this time on this -

Can't really help you with that, I barely use sheets at all on my system. There are a lot of posts explaining how to get them to work, as well as a complete WIki page devoted to it - dig through them. You should get fairly easy instructions there, just make sure you follow them exactly.

So sorry... a bit of a "noob" unfortunately.

I have B-Rads 1.02.21.WDLXTV_LIVE_4.3.3 with PsychoTHC_6.3.1 included but I also lost YouTubeHD around Christmas time.

I have read this thread ad-nauseum but can't fathom how to get YouTubeHD working again for my firmware.

Is there a step-by-step guide for this fix anywhere and if not... can anyone reply with a "blow-by-blow" guide for a noob like me?

Could you link to it... Just so I don't upload the wrong one (doh).

Do I still have "auto-res" and "Plug-Ins" with this new firmware you mention or is it the one that didn't have them?
