virtualdj: forgive me, but given your symptoms, I HAVE to ask. Are you SURE YOUTUBE_SWITCHER is set? (using the webend config is the best way to set/verify, IMHO)

Using the webend YOUTUBE_QUALITY was set to 720P but YOUTUBE_SWITCHER was "Disabled". So that's the reason because "logger" didn't work.
I'm overcoming by embarrassment, sorry...

I just didn't think about the simplest answer... that's because I've setup the WDTV using S00custom-options, that is my file:

I don't know why it has set the quality but not the switcher. I just thought it has picked up the settings.

i still cant get it to work ?
I have rebooted with the original firmware but still it wont work.
im having the psychothc_mod_6_5_3.osd.bin
And the 1.02.21_WDLXTV.COM_WDLXTV_LIVE-0.4.5.3 Firmware.
Going crazy !!!1
Please help me
Maybe some nice soul can send me a workin S00custom-option file ??

going crazy is not the best way forward

Please stick to a fool-proof debug plan before going crazy

First of all - reverting to stock WD firmware will not help you: your configuration files will remain on the box! Reset to factory defaults will however assist you in cleaning it up, or an "rm /conf/*" is also very effective.

I advise you to go step by step:
1. revert to stock WD
2. reset factory default
3. reflash with ONLY wdlxtv (no psycho-stuff)
4. set switcher to youtubeHD
5. test it!
6. add psycho-stuff
7. re-test it!

Tell us in which step you're stuck!

Thank you very much for your answer ,but i still dont get it to work.
This is what i did.
1.I boot with new firmware and reset to factory , and youtube works.
2. I reflash with vdxtv ,and no youtube.

This is how my SS00 file loks like, but this are on the psyco-staff

rather than using the S00custom-options, why not use the webend configuration tool... it's easy, and less prone to mistakes

point a browser to the IP of the WD
username and password are "wdlxtv"
look around... it's very user-friendly.
the "WDLXTV Config" section has the youtubeHD settings.

I looked around to try and find everything i could about youtube inside the wdxtv , and your right i was very easy to look around even for a noob like me .

I dont know what to chance or how i shall proceed to get it working BTUx9 ??.
