i guess you are talking about std mode sheets. in this case i think i have to patch the xml files..

Yeah sorry, I should have mentioned that. I view my folders in list view and all my movies are in each their own folder except my TV shows are all in a season folder.

How would I patch that the xml files? What would the patch look like?

I feel like I am losing my mind.

I have flashed my device to WDLXTV 0.4.5.3 for the express purpose of using MediaMark. In the Webend, I see nothing related to MediaMark anywhere.

Going to "WDTVExt Features" lists only "Movie Sheets," which I don't care about. Nothing that says "XPert" or anything else. Only Movie Sheets. Under "WDTVExt Plugins" it is completely blank. Nothing at all. Just a 2px high blank box.

I have tried setting the directory using config_tool command and I have tried setting the debug level. if I look at the file dmaocd.log there is nothing about MediaMark at all.

I have rebooted and power-cycled many times. I have read README and all documentation. I have checked the file /wdtvext/default-plugins and it has the correct values.

I have been working on this for over 2 hours; please someone help me before I tear my hair out or throw the cat through the window.

edit: As noted elsewhere, you need to get the 1.02.Xx version not 1.03.49. Yeesh.

What's the full firmware version you are using, and on what device?

Yep, that's it.

The newest version of the firmware doesn't come with wdtvext. Need to download the one previous. Wow, that's three hours of my life I wish I had back.

Thanks, guys. I sure wish instead of a blank screen we could have "this firmware doesn't support this feature." or some such. Instead of buried at the bottom of a changelog that a person new to this project wouldnt bother with. Haha. It works now. Great addition, thank you!

So Ryan, do you see the check mark in front of the moviesheet? If you do, how did you do it? I can only see the check mark in List view but as soon as I enter the folder I can only see it for a fraction of a second before the movie sheet pops up and covers it.

How do I remove this internal plugin?

I removed it, disabled it in the WEC and downloaded the normal one but it still won't work. And with this one that can't be seen on top of the sheet, it has become pretty useless to even keep it.

I hope there is a way to bring back to old one back.
