i downloaded and flashed firmware

Anyone got this working with Canadian Weather? It is asking for a ZIP code, that is US not Canadian

gotit working ... But i only see where it says "-1C Parialy cloudy" I don't see that picture of the globe weather... how od u see that?



And to get it working you need to go to follow the below steps


Drop Weather folder into /.wdtvext-plugins
Zip Code Search for your city ("Choose Location:" -> Search (select the correct city from list) ->
NEXT -> NEXT -> "I agree.." (if you agree with license terms ) scroll and look to the end of "Web Page Code", e.g. "EUR|UK|UK241|LONDON|" ).
USA, just add your zip code (e.g. "10001")


Go do that and by the end you will see a web code and at the botom you will see the code you are looking for... see my example for Peterborough Ontario (do not type in postal code. just type in city name)

How did u get the map of the world? I get the weather but no map

The picture is there as an icon.



I press the side arrow, wait about 2 or 3 seconds and it appears.



I replaced this
"EUR|UK|UK241|LONDON|"
with this
"NAM|CA|ON|PETERBOROUGH|"

For Oromocto of course and it gave me the images you see.

And think don't need now because official plugin present (in 1.4.10)

definetely not depreciated, until we have a wdtvext that works with 1.4.17 fw, there's a whole big group of us that are staying on 1.2.21 variants
