Themes for the WDTV Live Hub

I have started themeing the Live Hub and have just submitted my user theme to WD. Lets see what happens...
Is someone interested to load it manually on the LiveHub for testing the theme?

how funny juliojs, both of us started at same time on a theme without even knowing the other is doing the same. Its funny to me remembers me on those two guys meeting each other and one of those is starting to throw his photos on desk and saying: my house, my boat, my horse ... and the other follows doing the same.
anyway, glad to see you are theming the live hub too! too sad lilibabe isn't in the boat.

Now i know i can get both your themes running on the hub i am seriously tempted to go and buy one next week....

Ps only problem i have is seriously which theme do i choose LOL


What else do you guys feel is possible to get out of the hub ?? for example how is the movie info stored ?? in xml format and a jpg ?? do you think it might be possible to get full blown moviesheets working with the hub

What "I" feel or may think has nothing to say what could be possible or not. As long the FW stays untouched, it stays as it is. And i guess it will be. Thats what i think.

The moviesheet is created by dmaosd based on a style XML so it's customizable. I didn't try to change it but I'll look to modify the style of the moviesheet in the future.

The info is stored on the HDD (/metadata/movie/somefile.xml) and same with a cover JPG. It seems that the info is downloaded from themoviedb.org or imdb

It'll be easy for a software like thumbgen to export the data, It would be useful for non-english users like me...

That's a piece of cake to export the info in that .xml. More interesting would be to use a premade sheet in parallel.
On one hand export the xml (as it may be required for search/filter purposes) and on the other hand, instead of providing an internet link to a backdrop we inject there a local link to a premadesheet. The only problem is to switch off the standard info display (based on the xml).
