Hi Julious

Please can you tell me how you get the movie picture and film information displayed on the main video folder menu (top right screenshot) when viewing in gallery mode? This is always blank (displays folder icon- with year, director etc displaying-N/A.
I can only bring this information up when i actually double click on the movie folder at the bottom of the screen and enter the actual movie folder.

Your help would be greatly appreciated.

BTW- your theme looks great!

Hi Architectonic,

Firstly you have to have Library mode switched on, wait for the Hub to finish it compling the media (front lights flash this can take a while)

Secondly enter the folder where your movie file is and press Options on the remote.....Goto will be 'Get Content Info'

The Hub will download the information from the internet.....

Note that if you have upgraded to the newest firmware the Hub will not show the info when you are in the top folder... :x it will now only show it if you use 'All View' or you go into the indivudual folder and highlight the actual movie file alternatively you can put all your movies in one folder (but this is too messy for me personally)

Unfortunately the trick of naming your folder EXACTLY the same as the movie file does not work anymore as of the new firmware upgrade

Hi Juliojs (spelt your name correctly this time - sorry)

Thanks for replying so quickly.

Yeh, have done everything that you have described and yes you are correct in saying that the only way to view all movie info is by "view all" which is a pain in the ass!!
This method to view all movie info etc just doesn't seem right- surely not how WD intended??? I am puzzled or is this another bug to be fixed by the not so proactive WD programming Team!! :? We shall see? whats your thoughts on this?

i am currently on firmware update 2.03.24, like you say did an earlier firmware allow you to view all movie info (IN GALLLERY MODE). If so then why the change by WD??!!??

Anyhow with your expert knowledge ( BTW I am not very program literate), have you considered getting around this problem? As it seems a crying shame, when showing off your movie collection to friends and family that all you see (when in gallery mode) is blank black boxes with a 'folder icon' until you select the actual movie folder and (bravo!!) we have some movie info dispayed- yipee!!

I look forward to hearing your thoughts on this issue soon!

All the best and many thanks again for your theme!

PS- I wonder when other people will start posting their themes? I suppose this will be subject to how easy this process? Incidentally how long did it take you to design OsdMod?

best wishes.

Quick heads up, just noticed that both Anodized XL and OsdModHub 1.0 have been loaded to WD online theme database.

Means you can directly download to your Hub.

Goto Menu ----> Setup ----> Apperance ------> User interface Themes

Press the Red button to change between local themes and online themes

Download and enjoy.
