I flashed from stock 1.06.16_B to 1.05.04_B.WDLXTV_PLUS-0.5.2.0 . The one issue I see so far is that the Huluplus service in Internet media disappeared. Any way to get that back ? The others netflix, pandora, etc are there.

Well, the base 1.05 doesn't support Hulu, so there's no way to get it back, unless to flash back stock 1.06. In a few weeks I will start working on porting wdlxtv to 1.06, so some time in the future you should be able to use Hulu with wdlxtv

I have recently updated to 1.05.04_B.WDLXTV_PLUS-0.5.2.0, and played with every configuration I can think of and I cannot get the available usmp plugins to load via the webend.

Utilizing Putty, I am able to manually load single plugins using commands like umsp-plugman-web download youtube-subscriptions. Is there a command to download the complete repolist ?

Thanks.

It was a problem with the repository and should be fixed now.

To list all available plugins:
Code: Select all
umsp-plugman-web repolist

Run the script without any arguments to get a list of all commands.

Sweet, via the webend... I'm able to get the list now.

For my future reference, I was curious via telnet... what would be the command be to download all the plugins in one shot... not just list them with the
Code: Select all
umsp-plugman-web repolist
. Kind of a mute point now that I can get them via the webend.

Thanks !

You can't do all of them, but you can:
1. Restart UMSP: /etc/init.d/S6*umsp restart
Or
2. umsp-plugman-web download plugin-id

Thank you mad_ady.

I still have two issues remaining.

1) All though the webend "WDLXTV Addons Manager" displays all of the applications, each and every one of the applications cannot be enabled (click on the box, nothing happens), and the "State" pull down only displays "Not Installed". There is no functionality there.

2)Although I have no problem viewing youtube videos, I cannot login to my youtube account. I have tried every thing I could find out there on possible solutions.. I still cannot login. Is there a solution for this release? If not what about previous releases? I'm willing to try anything.

Thanks

1) For app-bins you need a USB drive plugged in at all times. When you have one, you'll get a sda1 or something in the drop down. You select the drive where you want to save the app.bin to, click save and then you can enable the checkbox (if not enabled automatically).

2) I've heard some people with youtube login issues, but I don't think the firmware is incompatible with youtube (yet). First thing I'd check would be for the password to not contain special characters like &, <, > which would break /conf/account_settings.xml. Also, you can try to create a new account and see if that works, to rule out any youtube/gmail synchronization issues.
