I can confirm that if you deactivate netflix on the wd tv. you can reactivate without having to use stock firmware.

Ah, awesome, I don't want to break Pandora nor Netflix on the device!

Um, so you just deactivate and reactivate and it works again?

I lost activation and I reactivated it fine without having to use stock firmware and it works fine.

one thing I would like to see is the ability to store and read /conf from the usb drive when usb booting firmware, that way if you are testing something you won't risk messing up the /conf stored on nand.

First post for me...

I'm sure I'm messing something up, but I was using the stock 1.05.04 firmware and have HDMI connected to my tv. Was playing mvk videos, from USB connected HD, with dual audio tracks 1. German 2. English. Upgraded to WDLXTV to try to fix an audio sync issue in a 1080p file. Didn't fix it but since I really like the features decided to keep it. Now I have found an issue and I'm sure it's just me missing something, but now audio track 1 (German) plays fine over HDMI but audio track 2(English) doesn't play over HDMI, but work fine over composite (stereo setting).

Would appreciate any help/suggestions.

Thanks.

Thanks a lot for this fw!

One question or may be new feature request: latest files list.
Is there a way to do so?

My setup: WD TV Live with this FW. It connects to a freenas server with all my files under a "MediaCenter" shared drive. I use of course moviesheet, stored in a dedicated folder on my NAS. Working fine!

Now I would like to have a recent file list. My NAS structure is:
Mediacenter/
Movies/
Category1/
Category2/
TVShows/
Music/
Gallery/

A test I did: in movies folder, I created a "Latest movies" folder, in which I create automatically - through a cron job on Freenas - shortcuts to less than 60 days files. From WDlxtv, if I navigate to this folder, it shows me all files with their relevant sheet. But it cannot play the file.
May be a new feature?

I reply to me :-)

I solved my symlink issue on my NAS server (I added the unix extension = no option to samba). So, now I have a folder updated automatically with symlink to less than xx days files. And wdtv is playing files from symlink without trouble. GREAT :-)

Another question by the way. Is it possible to enforce movisheet display in a folder? For instance, I would like to force wall display for the recent files folder.

Thanks!

A#1 for me would be a "last episode watched" since most of the use I get is watching a series, and when you're juggleing ten series at once, you forget if it was episode 6 or 7.

You could implement something like what you're talking about in each directory - a last time accessed - then you get to the right show (or season) sub dir, and have it play next....

I flashed back to 1.03.49_B-WDLXTV-Plus-0.4.7.3 so I could use the fakeusb.app but I'm just going to make the share a CIFS share on my Linux server and try cifsinterceptor on 1.05.04. Just didn't want to have a thumb drive always plugged in, especially to see a network share :P

cifs-interceptor is for browsing NFS shares via Network Shares by intercepting the CIFS connection...

I would be more than happy to donate for a beer. Can you answer this:
Which version will best allow me to use my WD TV LIVE PLUS to send 480i COMPONENT to my still great
Hitachi CRT??
