Autores never had anything to do with ext boot, it was related to the base firmware - requires 1.02 BaseFW.

damn i just got my wdtv plus and flashed 1.03.49_B_WDLXTV.COM_WDLXTV_PLUS-0.4.5.3 on monday and then spent 2 days tweaking it and getting it working

when doing upgrades of wdlxtv firmwares, i'm assuming it keeps configs, net.mounts, stuff in /conf OK? or does it erase everything?
