I had the same issue with Webend but then did the below (which I found in the webend section of this forum) and it fixed my problem:

Telnet/ssh to it, then run these three commands:
config_tool -c APACHE='ON'
config_tool -s
/etc/init.d/S66apache2 start

-P.

A little deeper into my pandora issue.

On factory reset Pandora works.

I do a complete reboot (pull power) still get pandora.

I log into the webend and change 2 things: set

MSHEETMODE='sheet'
VIDMSHEET='on'

I click the button that says save and it saves. I verify that the mode has been changed by browsing the video section. the mode was changed.

I click "reboot wdtv" from the webend

After reboot, Pandora no longer works. Gives me the error stating i have to have a U.S. IP address.

SO i copy and paste the factory reset config file and now the new one into different notepads. I see a list of things that were not in the original config:

Code: Select all
LINKSHEETS='ON'
TELNETPORT=''
FORCEHDMI='OFF'
SSHPORT=''
SCREEN_SAVER_IMAGE=''
IPUP='OFF'
NTPSERVER=''
PANDORA='OFF'
RTORRENT='OFF'
RTORRENT_DIR=''
SMB_RESOLVEORDER=''
SAMBA_SERVER_PROTECTION_STATE='0'
SYSTEM_USERNAME=''
SYSTEM_PASSWORD=''
SMBSHARE_USERNAME=''
SMBSHARE_PASSWORD=''
SAMBA_PROTECTION_WITH_GUEST='0'
SMB_STANDBY='OFF'
NFSD_AUTO_DEFAULT=''
EASYNEWS_USER=''
EASYNEWS_PASSWORD=''
EIRI='OFF'
WDLXTV_CENSUS='OFF'
DEFAULTSHEET=''

this data was saved to the config when I clicked the save button on the webend. I cant try to direct edit the config file as it is non-writable on the version i have. Thats fine I don't really need that anyway.

Would the options above for somereason make my wdtv look like it is not from the U.S. to pandora? this is the only differeance from factory reset and the MSheet edit.

I can post both config files in full if needed.

PANDORA=OFF should not be a default, set it to ON and you should be ok. Thanks for finding this. :)

EDIT: PANDORA=ON is default already

There are a few issues with the webend and default settings that have been showing up lately.. I've fixed one issue related to this last night, will have to look for one last issue that is harder to reproduce.

For now, the workaround is to go over the webend config pages at least once and check all settings, then save them. From then on everything should be fine.

As for those who have their webend unreachable already, look for my earlier post about setting APACHE back to ON through telnet. Then, go over the webend settings, check/configure everything, then save it.

Minor point to note - linksheets moviesheets are enabled :mrgreen: :mrgreen:

Look for LINKSHEETS setting under webend configurator or execute:
Code: Select all
config_tool -c LINKSHEETS=ON

reboot required.

My WDTV Live Plus keeps rebooting and I can't get it too stop. I try to fix my Netfix because it was not working at all.
I force the Hdmi setting inside the browser for the WDTV Live Plus. But now I think I bricked my device, I don't want to have to buy another device. Can someone give me some help...please. :cry:
