Tried 0.4.3.2 and still no HDMI ..tried 8bit..tried setting to 720p, As soon as I plug the HDMI cable in the box either won't turn on - or the power light comes on, but no video.

The 1080p bug still there...

When I start a movie, the resolution drop to 720p

telnet/ssh in and execute:

config_tool -c DMAOSD_DEBUG=1
reboot

On next reboot do your thing a couple times to get all the messages, then ftp in, download /tmp/dmaosd.log and post it somewhere.

The log will get large fast so you should disable it when you're done:
