Then there ius most likely something wrong with the names of your moviesheets, (linux is CasE SEnsiTivE!)
or you maybe didn't wait long enough after boot for the linksheet script to complete (both LEDs stop blinking)

Do you know where i can find a tutorial to turn off the device?, do not to put the device in stand by mode. Thank you so much again!
You can't. For starter, there is no mechanical power switch, so how would you turn the device back on if it was turned off (and so, unable to listen to IR signals from your remote)?
The device is warm because there is no form of active cooling. Someone once posted the power consumption measurements of the WDTV, and this should not be an issue - only a few watts if I remember. I wouldn't worry, the device was designed to operate that way. Many routers desinged to run 24/7 have no power switch and run even hotter than the WDTV (my Linksys WRT310N keeps the wooden shelf where it's sitting quite warm in fact).

then a couple days later, I updated to 4.3.2
1. Webend wont connect anymore (get a page cant be found error)
2. I have issues with the "play, stop, FF, RW, Pause" buttons. THey downt work while watching a .iso
3. Also (not sure how far this issue goes back cause I didnt check it before upgrading) if i have an ISO file in a folder and I hit the play button while having the folder selected, I get a "can't read this file type error". If i open the folder and hit play on the .iso file itself, it plays.
Any ideas why any of these three issues might be happening now?
EDIT: Now i can't get pandora to work. says i have to have a U.S. IP address. Im in the middle of the US. I am beginning to think i may have a network issue of somesort. The WDTV says it has a good network conn, IP/Subnet/Gateway are all right. I can see my network shares and xmounted drives on the WDTV. hmmmmm. trouble shooting time.

Yes, it does exist, “out there.” The most often cited is WDLXTV, which does seem to be making some good stuff.
