@b-rad

Could you craete a vey simple guide that explain ho to test on the file a new language. Ex.

- Create a custom file on USB (i know that should be custom-language-01.po).
- Which option should be enable on configuration file (to use custom file .po)?
- Is it necessary reflash the firmware ?
- The new custom file will be always enable also after power off/on?

Hi,

I am trying to translate wdlxtv to Vietnamese, but it does not support Vietnamese unicode so the translations do not appear correctly, same as Vietnamese srt subtitles.
Could you please add Vietnamese support to the next firmware?
Thank you very much.

Hi, these strings are displayed in the WDTVExt Plugins option, I added them to my po file:

#~ msgid "Reload Plugins"

#~ msgid "Update Plugins"

#~ msgid "Download Plugins"

#~ msgid "Available Plugins"

#~ msgid "Rescan Plugins"

Please add them to the template file.
There are other strings in the plugins menu that could not be translated. Simply adding them to the file did not work.

Hello,
First of all, thank you for great work.
I found some inconsistency or mix between Slovak and Slovenian translations. Both SL.PO and SK.PO are Slovak. In latest release 0.5 wdlxtv live are both Slovak too.
I think that SL must be Slovenian and SK is Slovak language. I don't know if there is any translator of Slovenian language. I'm from Slovenia.

Nice day

You are right.

There was an overlap between Slovak (SK) and Slovenian (SL) translation.

The translation current available is Slovak (SK).

I will check if I have Slovenian (SL) translationa nd update it into the server.

Thanks for your report.

Don't start with translation.

More info about how to translate here

http://forum.wdlxtv.com/viewtopic.php?f=50&t=2246

Download the WD TV Live Language Kit

http://www.adsl4all.net/public/Multimedia_box/WD/WDTVLive/Language/WDTV_languages.zip

Unpack it.

Edit SL.PO with Poedit or Notepad++ (UTF-8).

Then use Poedit to compile SL.PO as SL.MO.

When yoo will be ready (translation completed) created a thread Slovenian Translationa nd put there the file.

Thanks.

Hi

I'm new to this but i'm learning every day since a couple of days back.
I was just wondering if someone have done a Swedish translation for your latest 1.05.04 ROM for WDXLTV Live?
If not i'm planing to do so.
