you should stress the propper editor, win xp notepad is NOT a propper editor for example, you might run into problems using it. (can't tell for win7 notepad)
make sure the editor can handle *nix line breaks propperly and you're good.

Is there any WD plugin where I can just put my url and it can play instead of I editing the /config/umsp.php file. There is a site vumarks.com which allows that but I can't use that from my WD player.

Thanks eskay for looking into a way to use vumarks.com on WD. If you can make it work on WD, it will be great for everyone and we can play lot of live streams on our WD players. I will be waiting with finger crossed for the success.

Can anyone tell me how to convert rtmp links to a link to play it on the wdtv.

there is a site full of sport chl's I want to stream them from wdtv to my tv.

it will be nice to make a plugin or addon for this site to stream all the ch on it.
