Did not seem to work!

I did telnet into my WDTV via the web frontend and entered that command. Do I need to have the EIRI-files on on a USB-stick/external HDD upon booting? And if so: do I need to configure EIRI in a certain way via the "eiri.conf.txt"?

BTW: I don't use the Ext3-version - is that a problem right there?

Please try to run this command via ssh/telnet:
Code: Select all
/usr/bin/irsend POWER

Your device should go to sleep.

It's always good to use the EXT fw ;)

Does 'Sleep Timer' conflict with 'MediaMark'?

I have both and only MediaMark works.

Select default sleep mode after cold reboot

Postby nradu » Sun Nov 07, 2010 8:55 am

Can I set the SleepTimer to a default value, other than OFF (let's say ON IDLE) so after each cold reboot or power failure this value is considered without any user input?

Thanks a lot!

Yay! A sleep-timer! The main reason i will try the wdlxtv firmware tomorrow :)

...unless it conflicts with the enhanced standby. Does it? http://wiki.wdlxtv.com/Power_settings/Standby

I'm not sure if this plugin correctly works anymore with the latest firmware update 1.02.21-WDLXTV-Live-0.4.7.3.

I tried sleeptimer 90 minutes and sleep on idle. The WDTV Live doesn't go to sleep or standby or turn off. The OSD menu is still showing on the screen.

The idle timer works great for me. My kids are always leaving the box on. I was wondering if there is a way to make it always turn off when it goes idle, so i dont have to press the search button everytime.

I would also really really like a sleep on idle that was always running (without having to enable it every time). Is there any way to do this currently?
