I can't remember what I enabled now, it's been too long but my MediaNavigation marks the folder as marked once all the video files in the folder have been watched. I can also mark a folder and all it's content as watched by pressing the FF or REW button on the folder itself. But if I recall it was either something I had to enable or it could have been PsychoTHC's Mod. Likely the latter.

Isuspect this has something to do with MediaMark.
Unfortunately MM and MN doesn't communicate.

Of course you're right SailorT. My mistake. As I said, it's been so long since I started using MM and MN that I can't even make the difference anymore. But one thing for sure, I couldn't go without either anymore.

Hi,
I just installed MN4 on my 1.02.21-0.4.7.3 Live box. There are no config files or resume files in /conf, but only in /tmp/media/usb/USB1/FC47-CBD9/.wdtvext-plugins/MediaNavigationV4/

Guess that's still alright (resume works fine, but I might go back to the built-in resume function instead)?

Anyway, I have a couple of things I can't really work out.

1) I have some mkv files with chapters. I would like to jump to the next/prev chapter by pressing the "next"/"prev" button. But I need to press the "next"/"prev" button twice and then it displays a list of chapters from which I can choose the chapter I want to skip to. Can't I just get a "normal" chapter action from the "next"/"prev" buttons? I've tried STD and MN Keys, but no luck so far.

2) My mkv files are made using MakeMKV. Before using MNv4 the subtitle (only one available) was displayed automatically. Now I have to manually select it, before I get subtitles on my movies. The subtitle isn't placed in it's own file, it's placed inside the mkv container (I actually thought that MakeMKV burned the subtitle onto the movie). Isn't it possible to have the subtitle turned on automatically?

@digitaltheatre: no, wdtvext plugins don't work with 1.03 or 1.05.

Awesome plugin revolutionizes the box, just created song chapters for my music mkvs and works brilliantly! Thank you very much!

If you set the Info bar hide timeout to On Enter whenever you activate a skip that switches the Info Bar off aswell. Be very handy to be able to keep the Info Bar while skipping through a vid to get the right place. Could there please be an option to use On Back?

Thanks alot for this, its like a new box, bloody brilliant! Hope my idea is cool and I'm not doing it wrong I found its the same with the Jump To (again thanks this is awesome) hitting Enter to activate the jump turns off the bar. The big skips or jumps are not usually exact science and would be very handy if it could stay on please?

I also really like that it shows the vid specs too res, bitrate and size, any chance it could show the framerate aswell? I have a 24p capable TV and always good to know what FPS is being played. Not as important but if room just an idea maybe could have the no. of audio channels and audio bitrate too.. have all the tech info quick and easily available.

Hi all,

I've just upgraded my firmware to 1.02.21_WDLXTV.COM_WDLXTV_LIVE-0.5.1.4 and have installed the Media Navigation V4 plugin.
2 things stopped working.

1 - In ds-lite Share, I cannot find anymore NAS rw | toggleRW script (I used it successfully before downloading subtitles like zmiki explained it to me here a while ago !)
Where has it gone ?!
Have I missed a configuration somewhere ?

2 - When I bring the "Subtitle download" menu, the languages are not filtered according to my en.fr.sublang located in/tmp/conf for months.

One more question : with MNv4 installed, when I display the "Video toolbar" at the the top of the screen (with the Option button) and switch the "Play mode" with the Enter button, there is nowhere to see what repeat mode is currently selected (without MNv4, it shows at the bottom right corner of the screen)
