Hi all,

recent betas and Relase Candidates of MediaNavigation V4 now turned into next release into SVN.
Can't remember all the stuff what has been added since last "official release", so give new version a try.
What''s definitely new, is possibility to filter out subtitles languages by creating file inside MN folder with listed languages codes
with .sublang as filetype, i.e. en.pl.sublang will filter out just english and polish subtitles.
Credits for idea/implementation for subtitles filter goes to dzebrys.

It is recommended, even !mandatory! to remove all previous versions of MN. In case you need resumes, just copy mn.resume over to new MN folder.

Hi.
Is it possible to customize buttons?
For example, left and right check for subtitles, I would like to set them to go fast forward or rewind, without having to press fforw first (and using just the option button to select subtitles).

Does this mean it should now show up in the ext download menu of wdtv live as I don't see it

@dopedangel: it does appear. You either need to reboot (to get the updated list), or to refresh the available wdtvext plugins from the OSD.

How can i use MNv4 native? I mean integrated in Flash instead of running as a plugin? Can I do this, or is it impossible due the limitations of the box?

it will always be a plugin, but if you're wanting to run it without a usb drive, it's possible just not recommended, you'll need ext3 firmware and start coding your own changes needed to do it

my2c, you're better off just having the flash drive plugged in, there's a lot of items that require a flash drive plugged in, not just plugins

mn.config and mn.resume are in /conf (/tmp/conf) and can be removed from DSlite,
also you can run script toggle rw net shares from DSlite.

zmiki you are GREAT!

I noticed something wrong... some descriptions are missing.
I use italian language. For example when selecting local disk there is only the disk icon and no words, in youtube two icons (most populare and most viewed) are without description and if I press play on a folder without movies inside, I get just on OK button with no error description.

Ehm... I can't find weather.

I found mn.config. Can I use it to modify some buttons?


edit: I just tried to switch language to english. No more missing words. Only italian words are missing...

Thanks nothing great there just help from this great forum users and WDLXTV Team.
For weather plugin it should be enabled from PC from webconfig and after reboot then you will have on page for user plugins options for code for your regionand temp C/F.
also NTP (network time) should be enabled with correct timezone.
to edit mn config you should press pause during video and then option, after that you are on your own to change settings...
