This was an easy one... m2ts is not in the suffix list.
Add m2ts to MEDIAMARK_SUFFIX:
Code: Select all
config_tool -c MEDIAMARK_SUFFIX='avi|mkv|mpe*g|rm|mp4|wmv|asf|mov|vob|iso|bin|dat|m2ts'

gotta love it when it's easy  @self

I'll have to double check if there was a wec entry to add these, should be, although, I'm really surprised that .m2ts isn't listed with the default settings

Change log in 1.02.21 WDLXTV 0.4.7.2 says that Internal MediaMark is fixed for STD mode. I still get the same problem. I can see the small square where the mark SHOULD be but it is not showing in front of my movie sheet. If I have a folder sheet I don't see the mark there either. If I view the folders in List mode then I see it there.

I am not sure what to do here to get the mark to display in front of the sheet.

Thanks

Hi Recliq,

First of all thanks for everybody's hard work, it really improves WDTV LIVE Functionality.

This is my first post so excuse me if I am doing something wrong.

I was planning to get my hands on a friend's request, creating music playlist on the fly. This guy has tons of cd's that I'm ripping into mp3s, next step is to profit from his vast knowledge of music to generate myself some good compilations.

The thing is that I started to look through what is already done using Wdtvext and came across krypto's MediaMark and after that your remastered internal one, what I need to do is really close to what the MediaMark those but with some minor changes...since I'm really new into this, my question is what's the best way to go?

Should I ask for a new improvement of the MediaMark plugin? or Should I try to develop a new plugin with this minor changes? tried to start a new one but really looks way too similar to the old one so I thought its better to ask first.

Thanks again

Cheers

It would be more easy to answer if i'd know the question...

What feature are you searching for? From reading your post i have the impression you want to create some sort of playlist and i don't see how this is related to mediamark?
If you could tell me what you are looking for, I can propably tell you if it should/will get added to mediamark or should go to separate plugin.

Re: Plugin: MediaMark [internal] (WDLXTV 0.4.5.1+)

Hi again Recliq,

You are absolutely right, did not explain myself at all  , but as you guessed what I would like is that while playing music being able to hit a remote button and mark that file as "to be included" in a playlist. Also while browsing through audio files with another remote key being able to mark it the same way or if already marked delete it.

Then maybe generate with a script a M3U or PLS playlist file. Ideally It would be nice to have a list of available playlists in order to select in which one the song should go to....but I thkink thats more complicated though.

That's why I thought about the MediaMark plugin, I think Krypto mentioned it as a possible evolution for the plugin (always related to video, I think), or maybe I misunderstood it.

Thanks again.
