Right now, only with a lot of work and cross-compiling. :geek:
There are some DVB drivers and tools for WDTV around, but I don't think the drivers you need are there.
It's also a pain to get DVB working on WDTV and not really a noob task, sorry.

Next problem is playing DVB streams on WDTV if you get the dongle working.
I did manage to get two different dongles working on WDTV (Hauppauge WinTV Nova-TD and Sundtek MediaTV Pro) but it takes a long time (10-20 sec.) for the playback to start because DMAOSD seems to buffer a lot when you switch streams, it's not really usable. (Maybe we just didn't find the right way to start streams...)

I have crosscompiled complete v4l package with lot of drivers, but don't know if your tuner is within supported.
In MNv4 there is support for DVB and starting stream is in matter of seconds. Also recording schedule, EPG, ...
But don't know if install from within MNv4 GUI is still possible due to change of dvb/drivers download location.

recliq: I can maybe update MNv4 sources to download needed apps if you can provide me storage and url.

Further discussion please direct to MNv4 thread. MNv3 is not supported anymore.
If you like my work and want to buy me a bottle of wine, you can do it this way. Thanks for your support.

Nice to see you around sailort. I have a question for you - are you planning on integrating the changes you made for MNv4 to work with 1.05-dev in the main MNv4 (or v5) code base? So that the same plugin would work the same way on 1.02 and 1.05? Or are you still waiting for changes on wdtvext for 1.05?

Thanks

JS language features are different for new version of wdtvext. I will wait for final version to see if it will be fully functional as it is for old wext version as it could be just pibos not in-compiling whole js interpreter.
Those changes made for working it against new dev version was quick ugly hacks just to make it work for testing and I'm not standing behind this as solidly as for svn version.
Maybe we can make another MN withing svn specially for dev version and testing, but honestly this seems to me will generate a lot of support questions and will need to maintain two branches of code (although I don't see any major changes in the future).

Anyway, good to see you guys around and oh, can you suggest me a new media player? Although I will miss MediaNavigation plugin :)

...and really, let's contunue in MNv4 thread. This one is supposed to be dead by now.
