No. It works fine without Wdtv-ext. I unplugged the flash drive it was on.

Edit: Oh, and it also works fine when I don't power on my external usb hard drive.

And did you try booting with wdtvext enabled, but with no plugins?
And also, how many files do you have on all attached drives? Wdtvext will scan all of them.

Btw, I'm replying to another post you made on a different thread. What you describe there is different from what you describe here?

It's the same problem.
I just deleted AutoZoom ('plugins' folder and Wdtvext.bin remain) and it works. I guess something is wrong with the plugin.. But nobody else seems to have the same issue anymore.

I haven't used this plugin yet, but did you add the "getConfigSetting" function/script that b-rad posted? http://forum.wdlxtv.com/viewtopic.php?f=48&t=916&start=10#p7329

It looks like there is a dev (newer) release of wdtvext that the AutoZoom plugin depends on, but adding this extra function gives AutoZoom what it needs, if you're using the non-dev release.

Some of these plugins are bleeding-edge, and it takes a lot to get them working.

I did initially try adding that, but it didn't work. I eventually tried using what recliq posted and it did. I guess I'll just wait for the newer version of wdtvext to be released.

Thanks a lot for all your help.
