Getting started with WDTVExt ?

Is there any link that shows you how to get started with WDTVext ? I took a quick look but can't find anything. I know there's this wiki page but that doesnt explain much: http://wiki.wdlxtv.com/DevelopWDTVExtPlugin#Filename

That's pretty much it for now, regarding existing information.
I think we all started by exploring the example code provided with wdtvext (weather, extsheet , etc plugins).

If you have a concrete question i'd be happy to answer it if i can
I can also provide some further example code (willing to comment it as well ;P)

BTW, about what we can NOT do: "create menu items that link to a folder or file", I guess that means that what I wanted to do (make that local folder directory visible without an USB drive in) not possible ?

I tried this without any success, i think that this is another dmaosd problem... it shows the Folders item only if there is actually a usb device connected..., creating USB1 or 2 doesn't change a thing, so dmaosd must have a look at the mounted usb devices...
I don't think wdtvext can handle this yet in any way...

I have off today and tommorrow and am going to finally delve into my theories on how to handle this problem.

I will work on the wiki page and eventually release a small js library to add content properly to page.extraContent (so multiple plugins adding content to the same page can coexsist peacefully )
