Aeon Live OSD Mod

[KAD]

Inspired by the Aeon Skin from XMBC

This was a joint project. Jumbalaya did all of the xml and image elements, I did the included plugins

Menu Navigation is handled by WDTVEXT Plugin, due to dmaosd limitations we were unable to remap the standard arrow keys on the remote
mapped keys are:
FF - moves to the right
REW - moves to the left
PLAY - select
BACK - back (example from Local Drives to Video)

To bad about the key mapping, but I truly like the minimalistic design. Gonna give it a try tonight^^

yeah, actually, the main arrow buttons are still functional, and after a few days, you get used to it
but just a bit counter intuitive
up to go left
down to go right

while playing the video I am getting menu at the top of screen for option setting which is permanent. No way to get rid off.

Hey Kad,

Is there anyway to add more backgrounds to the OSD? Some of the selections, like pandora and youtube are just black backgrounds.

you could package your own osd.bin file

although, I haven't used this in quite some time
I'm surprised you're seeing black backgrounds, are you sure you're on 1.02.21 base firmware
