@jumbalaya - just noticed that when I view my music library using the folder mode that the thumbs "folder.jpg" are not displayed; folder sheets are visible. When I view the library using album mode, the thumbs are known. Is this behavior correct?

Thanks,

Calypso

i would imagine that's not the way it should be. i don't have any music files to test this with unfortunately.

@jumbalaya - I sometimes use the ZappoTV app to access the Twonky Media Server on my PC which then streams the selected album to the WDTV. What I noticed is that the black border around the album art is again shifted to the left of the thumbnail. When I access the Twonky directly from the WDTV, then the border is correctly positioned as per your fix awhile back.

Can you have a look at this in your "spare" time! :D

Cheers,

lol, i see what you did there.

the easiest way for me to fix this would be for you to help me out. here's what i need you to do.

go to the command line on your computer and type in telnet <ip of your wd>. example - telnet 195.326.2.7

type in your user and password

then type tail -f /tmp/dmaosd.log (thanks KAD)

now, on your wd go to the page you are referring to (the one where the thumb is not aligned) and then press the back button on your remote.

now, look at the computer screen and you will see where it says blahblah.xml is popped.

post the name of that xml here and i'll be able to fix that in about 5 minutes.

I might add that you need to set DMAOSD_DEBUG=1 (or 2) before you can do this, otherwise there will be no /tmp/dmaosd.log ;)
Code: Select all
config_tool -c DMAOSD_DEBUG=1

I think this can also be enabled in WEC, set DMAOSD_DEBUG to File (or File + stderr)

@jumbalaya - I believe that the "audio_ex_playing.xml" might be the cause as there is a popped message. Also, I forgot to mention that the thumbnail does not appear at all.

@jumbalaya - I missed the message that the "picture_ex_playing.xml" also popped. Hope this helps and thanks for the help!
