Like your idea; good balance between programming complexity and user flexibility. Can you give us a heads-up on which 3 color you are targeting?

TuneIn radio - When you are correcting the positioning/scaling issue can you re-check the location of the play/pause icon as it is lost in the middle of the screen on the bar. Cheers.

i am testing the latest changes i have made. i went ahead and made the bottom lighter half of the infobar to match the top half. then i changed the text and play_state icon to white also. this should make it much clearer to read.

PICTO3_SHEET_FILENAME= (filename on)
PICTO3_SHEET_FILENAME=9 (filename off)

PICTO3_INFO_BAR= (Picto3 - normal)
PICTO3_INFO_BAR=2 (jazz) (darker with white text)

@jumbalaya - used the config_tool to set the 3 label to show 4 thumbs, no filename, and modified info bar colour. All your mods worked perfectly. I did however notice that all the folders below the root level e.g. USB2 icon only show folder icons and no labels e.g. All Videos. Also, the music folder thumbs are no longer visible but the album names are visible.

I'll re-install an older version and check again.

@jazz - anything unusual on your menus?

@jumbalaya - loaded an older version of Picto3 and all the folder names and thumbs are correct. I suspect the fact that the names are not visible is due to the logic for the Picto3 sheet filename. For the thumbs, no idea. Ohhh so close!

such is life...fix one leak, spring another.
it seems really odd because the only change i made for the filename was to the video thumb sheet xml and the infobar change just involved that xml and a few images. i'll see what i can figure out.

*edit - everything seems fine for me. maybe i'm not understanding what you are trying to tell me. can you post a picture or tell me exactly where you are navigating to when you see this problem?

Infobar at "jazz" mode (thanks for this, although it could be used as a common term) is perfect now, white/black combination.
Both green and blue color setting look perfect with this background:

As for the rest, I'm not using thumbs, only list mode overall setting, but I'll try.

@jumbalaya - loaded the latest OSD version and removed the PICTO3_SHEET_FILENAME=9 from the config file and rebooted. All thumbs and folder labels are again visible. Hope that helps you track down the problem. Calypso.
