psychoTHC (1.05.04) v4.4 updated 12-28-11

Hi!

I just installed PsychoTHC on a plus, it is a great theme, thanks for your work. I noticed that while playing YouTube videos the progress bar is not displayed at all. The same thing occurs while plaing videos from MediaFly. Other progress bars (movies, music) have no problem at all and are displayed the right way, even if I changed the color.

hi berdulasio, i apologize for this. i don't use any of the online media players so i hadn't noticed this was an issue. i will fix this as soon as i can and post a new release. it may be a few weeks as this time of year is really busy.

@ tchutchy, sorry i don't think i'll have the time to make this happen.

@berdulasio, i didn't notice you mentioned you have a plus. i don't own one and i'm not sure what changes to make to get that to work.

@berdulasio, i looked at the osd for the plus and it seems to me the xml's are the same for youtube and mediafly. i fixed this so it will be the same as the regular video info. maybe it will work for you now.

Hi jumbalaya, thank you for your answer. Let me explain what I found after testing the new version (may be long, sorry).

Mediafly showed a different progress bar but the remote control did not work anymore and I had to power reset the unit.

Then I tried youtube and the progress bar looked and behaved the same as in the previous version. I found an youtube_..._without_download.xml (or something like that, I don't have the unit right now to check) and applied the same changes to that xml, then the progress bar changed to look the same as mediafly.

Unfortunately, while the video played correctly I lost remote control functionality and had to power reset the unit.

The strange thing is that in both your previous and current version the progress bar never gets updated and shows always empty, no matter the video is playing.

One more test I make was to check the osd that comes with wdlxtv and the progress bar works correctly.

I tried to understand the logic in that xml but this is new to me, couldn't figure out the problem. If you find it useful you can give me the changes you would like to test so I can apply them to the xml and give you the outcome.

Well best thing since 1.20.21 - 6.7.3 psychothc. I really missed this OSD when I upgraded to 1.05

Hi jumbalaya, today I tested the new version and the youtube progress bar is almost working, it is displayed correctly (it looks preety good) and it shows progress while playing although the progress is faster than it should be, more or less it completes in half the time it takes the video to complete. The same happens with mediafly videos.
