fyi, everything was correct in the osd, the image was valid. the problem was it was transparent. it was there, you just couldn't see it.
so i just pointed youtube and mediafly to different images that i added, made a few adjustments and it works.

full credit goes to berdulasio for this fix. thank you for finding the problem...and the solution.

first of all, thanks for your updates of PsychoTHC! I'm very happy about this!

i use 1.05.04/0.5.1.1 with your MOD but if i start a TS Mediafile, i can't use the remote control anymore... the movie plays until the end and after this i can use the RC again... in the meantime it's not possible to pause, stop, forward or change audio etc. With ISO Files everything works fine.

Do you think this could be an issue with your MOD or with the base Firmware??

unlikely the osd mod is causing this, but there is a very simple way to check this:
boot the box without the osd mod and play a TS file...

Can anyone tell me if they've tried this on 1.02.21-WDLXTV-Live-0.5.1.1? I've used the original version previously (6.5.3) which worked perfect with 1.02.21-WDLXTV-Live-0.4.7.3. For some reason now when i use 1.02.21-WDLXTV-Live-0.5.1.1 icons keep disappearing when scrolling through the main menus. i know this version was for 1.05.04 but the reason why i use 1.02.21 is becase of the moviesheets versus linkedsheets. i've had better luck using moviesheets, for some reason when i turn linksheets on in version 1.05.04 it takes forever to finish scanning an is extremely slow when navigating through my movies (probably because i have a ton of them) unless i'm doing something wrong moviesheets in version 1.02.21-WDLXTV-Live-0.5.1.1 work better for me

this was created for 1.05.04 not 1.02.21

tried psychothc_mod_6_5_3-svn62 had some new issues with that one (suppose to be the one to use with my version of firmware), i give up playing around with it, i ended up switching to 1.05.04 and use msheetdir now, migrated all my sheets over. just going to use the version that you posted V4.4 now, i'll let you know how that goes. have over 1800 movies so it took a little while but it is all done (plus i have 3 wd tv lives on my network so i had to migrate each of them to msheetdir)

i've configured my settings using the WEC, working good so far. there is something strange though, probably doesn't have to do with this OSD but more so with MSHEETDIR but when i go to view my movies in sheet mode i now have a USB2 folder along with all my normal Genre folders, anyone know how to make this disappear?
