I think I am most impressed with your clean looking setup of your tv and devices built into the wall. Very nice.

hello jumbalaya

Great Theme you have done there.
I just been playing around and changed the BG and the Icons.
As you can see on the attachments is it not how it should look like :)
My new Icons are 1280x720 instead of yours 900x450. I changed the villa_home.xml to x=0 and y=0 instead of your 156 116 cause i thought that it will adjust automatically. but, no :) It resize the icon automatic to 900 X 450. Would be nice if you could tell me where i have to make the right change that i can see what i wish to see.

thank you so much

That is how it look like:

hi scoobydo, thank you for the kind words.

ok, i think the reason why this is not working for you is because in order to have the image change at the same time the blue button changes i had to make them one image together. so, when you moved the starting point to x=0, y=0 it moved the blue button and list of settings, videos, etc and along with it the image from the tv. the only way i can think of for you to change it is to open up my image in gimp or photoshop and lay your image that fits into the tv over top of mine. from that point it's just trial and error until you find the right place to put it.

Good Morning jumbalaya..

Thank you for your answer

thats what i have done. overlay my picture over yours with Photoshop. i rolled back all i have done to your original settings.
it seems like that the wdtv cuts the picture to 900 x 450. The thing is that i have to make your icon bigger cause the screen is bigger. I think there is somewhere in one of this xml an entry who say: "i dont care which size your picture has, cut it to 900 x 450" :)

greetings and a nice day, or good night

you know, i just thought of something. did you just change one image or did you go through and change all of them? the reason i ask is because the wd (not the mod) will resize the column or row of the home screen to whatever the smallest size image is. so, if you have your image as 1280x720 but the rest of them are still 900x450, the wd will resize yours to 900x450. you'll need to place an image 1280x720 for settings, video, music, pictures, and internet media before you will see the change. i would just throw in some generic images to make sure this works before you spend a bunch of time making new images.
the only other thing i would caution you about is with an image 1280x720 the navigation will probably slow down considerably. if you do get it working you should release it. i think it looks pretty sweet and would like to try it! :)

you are right.. i tried it first with only one image to test. maybe is that the reason why its not working.
