well, you're not missing anything from /tmp/init.d
but why isn't /tmp/config-plugins/ being created??

I'll have to ask brad or merlin for idea's on why

yesterday when you manually started apache, it didn't show any errors, that should have created the dir :?

Hi
sorry for the newbie questions
I just installed 1.05.04 0.5.0.0 and EyeCandy_1_05_04_v_1_0.osd.bin in the roof of my usb2
I don't know what to do with other files and folders located in the .zip like Action Scifi-Wallpapers, Windows-Wallpapers
other thing is that menusheet don't show up as it used to be with 1.02.21, btw I don't use S00custom-options
here is the screenshot of webend
Image

thanks for the help

@anis_ber,
the extra directories are just that optional items, they are themed menusheet sets that can be enabled
as for enabling menusheets, it requires linksheets=on, enable linksheets and reboot, you should be up and running

@bassmig,
since you are on a plus, brad came up with one possibility for not having that directory, 5.0 plus fw requires flashing with the bi2 file, if this file was not included during flash, certain parts of the firmware do not exist including missing directories
you could attempt to reflash the device, making sure that the bi2 file is included on the thumbdrive at time of flash

@calypso,
wish I had an answer for you, since you are on a live bi2 does not exist and it's not supposed to exist, so you're not missing any parts of the firmware, and I have no explanation of how or why this directory is not being created, brad had no idea's either, in theory reflashing the firmware would do nothing for you, but I'm out of idea's, if you want to try that you can :?

enabling the linksheets which is the option under VIDMSHEET right
yes

to set the optional directory of your choice, you must do 2 things
1. enable early mount for your drive containing the directories
2. enter the full path on WEC in the MENUSHEETDIR field - should be something like
Code: Select all
/tmp/mnt/<UUID>/Windows-Wallpapers

3. I guess three items, reboot :D

I was sure I had originally flashed my uint with the bi2 file. However I tried a re-flash but I still don't have the eye candy config options. Is there a way to ensure the bi2 stuff was properly flashed? Would other options be missing? As far as I can gather I have all of the UMSP options and config options other than the eye candy stuff. It does work and display but more config options are always better in my book! :)
