so what am i missing do i have to have the 1.04.05.1.1.1 flashed to my box or ext3 -boot because i have it flashed is the prob

these items should not effect eye andy at all

from your config I can tell the above MENUSHEETDIR got cut off
as for RANDOM_MENUSHEETDIR this

also since above was cut off a bit, same for MENUSHEETDIR as well, it should not end with a backslash

but it does show correct in your /conf/config
besides that, everything looks fine
depending on what all was changed you might need to reboot

ok sorry i just copied and pasted everything but again dose it matter that i have the wdlxtv firmware 1,04.05.1.1.1 FLASHED TO MY BOX AND NOT EXT3-BOOT WHITCH SHOULD IT BE

flashed vs ext3 should not matter, if it's still not working after those correct settings above and a reboot
you could try running the script from a cmd line and see what error messages you get

Hello All, I am using 1.05.04_B with 0.5.11 on a Live Plus. It works, and I used WEB END to configure Sheets, they work when I loaded them all in one folder, then told WEC to look at that folder for the Sheets. My problem is I tried to load Eye_Candy_1_05_04_v_1_2_1.osd.bin , I unlpuged the WD box, plugged in the USB stick with the OSD Bin, then plugged the WD box back in. When it powers up, it does not load the OSD BIN at all, and I see no "Ey Candy", it just boots to the 0.5.1.1 standard look. USB Stick is Fat32, OSD BIN is in the root of the stick. Can anybody help with this? Is there a way to load Eye Candy through the Web End maybe? Also, I see nothing in the Config that refers to EyeCandy. All help is much appreciated. Also the only thing on the USB Stick is the OSD.BIN file.

only thing I can think of is make sure there are no hidden partitions etc on the usb drive
example the hp format does creates an incompatible partition
other thoughts maybe the file is corrupt, you could try to download again
and when copy to usb drive, make sure you safely eject the drive

there's really no tricks to getting it to load, it's just got to be at the root of the usb drive and then reboot the box
