gen1 mod *with msheet* and Version 2

I wouldn't implement all views. cylent demostrated how you can do a solid msheet mod without getting any blackscreens mainly by reducing the number of views.
One view could look like this:

I made a pretty basic template which produces sheets with 1280x459 resolution. is it possible to let your osd display the remaining 261 lines of your background image behind the thumbs, as you can see in the picture above?
a corresponding widethumbs view would be nice, too!

@toninegri, yes it's possible to do that, that's what i was thinking of doing also. if you use the 459 template, that alone will eliminate the black screens regardless of how many other views are there. i do believe having just wide and regular does speed it up though. i'll just do wide and reg then, give me a few days as i can't get to it right away. i'll post back here asap. thank you!

The templates are made for thumbgen! I'm not sure if they work with aother apps.

@ ToniNegri, I think that looks nice! I'll send you the image i used for the background of my template (tvixie). It is basically the blue screen as the background. I have msheet set up so, if you use that image it will blend in perfectly and look just like the regular thumb browsing. I'm not sure if that really explains much i'll post pics soon and you'll get a better idea of what i mean.

Good to see you two still working on osd's and templates and doing reel good jobs, while most people seem to focus on wdtv live now.

I have downloaded your background image and I noticed it is the same i'm already using, except of the resolution (but should make no difference i think).
Will you provide tv show templates for Ernis app or thumbgen, too?
I have repositioned the movieinfo-icons in the full screen sheet. But i think i will have to redo the complete movie info. i also would like to enlarge the fanarts. Should I remove the cover or one fanart therefor? What do you think?

Hi Toni Negri, thank you! yes, i'll make a tv template for Ernis program once i get the wide view started/finished. i personally like the fanart in the template and not the cover, since the cover is shown at the bottom of the page already. either way, i'm sure it will look nice!
