MiniDLNA 1.1.2 just released yesterday!!!

You can see the changelog here:http://sourceforge.net/projects/minidlna/files/minidlna/1.1.2/

Download app.bin here (3-6-2014):
https://app.box.com/s/std9qdgi1pstbsy9mqcl

4/8/2014 UPDATE:
Version with TiVo support HERE (as I am fairly certain I did not compile the one from last month with TiVo support, for anyone who wants it):
https://app.box.com/s/d5n7vkhockjmw4fjetqb

RMerlin made the original one over two years ago which was version 1.0.24-0.7 (Feb 18th, 2012) which you can find the thread here:
http://forum.wdlxtv.com/viewtopic.php?f=40&t=2528

I simply compiled the latest one and modified his script in order to deal with the missing library issue. Not sure because I can't find the post again but I think I read he got around the issue by hard coding some things. Anyhow, please download and please let me know if you have any problems with this. I was working on this for many days and late nights to get it working. Stupid dependencies And yeah you need ffmpeg.app.bin for this to work, just like the previous version.

UDPATED: 3-8-2014 I didn't RTFM and I had put the libs in the wrong dir when creating the app.bin and so I was using a modified startup script to set the path for the libs. I recreated the app.bin with the libs in the right folder and switched back to an unmodified script and now everything is working without using "LD_LIBRARY_PATH" :D
UPDATE 2: Fixed some spelling errors in the description field of the xml file.

Would you like us to upload your build to the svn?

That would be awesome! I may update it later today. I think I put the libs in the wrong folder, I put them in usr/lib instead of just lib/ so I used LD_LIBRARY_PATH in the startup script to run it pointing it to the dir I placed the libs in. I'm going to redo the app.bin with the libs in the correct folder and see if I can then run the binary without the script containint the "LD_LIBRARY_PATH" mod I did to it. Shall I just PM you if I update it or is there something I can do once it's on the svn so that the svn is automatically updated? Sorry, as you can see from my post count I'm a noob ;)

I will try to update it tomorrow. To add further updates you would need svn commit rights - you'll need to get those from b-rad

I'm having problems uploading your files to svn... I'm not sure what's wrong (must be something on my end):
Code: Select all
[root@aldebaran MiniDLNA]# svn commit -m "petermg: Updated MiniDLNA to 1.1.2"svn: E175002: Commit failed (details follow):
svn: E175002: MKACTIVITY of '/svn/app-bins/!svn/act/e4abac45-ea68-4870-8a58-a3fbc6a57376': Could not read status line: Secure connection truncated (https://svn.wdlxtv.com)

svn diff works ok though...

Ok I just tried it out and because you changed the name from "minidlna" to "minidlna-112" the start up script no longer works. The path /apps/minidlna is in the start and stop script. The app.bin you made changes the path to /apps/minidlna-112.
