Is there an updated download link for this - appears that the two existing ones are broken.

Thanks!

EDIT: Nvm, the link seems to be working now.

I am running a WDTV Live Plus with 1.05.04 and 0.5.1.1. When I try to connect to the PPTP from the WebEnd I get the following error:

Starting pptp

config saved val:key => (PLUGIN_WEBDIRS,webirc|/apps/webirc/cgiirc,mt-daapd|/usr/share/mt-daapd,nzbgetweb|/usr/share/nzbgetweb,rtorrent|/usr/share/rutorrent,umsp|/usr/share/umsp)
config saved val:key => (PLUGIN_WEBDIRS,webirc|/apps/webirc/cgiirc,mt-daapd|/usr/share/mt-daapd,nzbgetweb|/usr/share/nzbgetweb,rtorrent|/usr/share/rutorrent,umsp|/usr/share/umsp,pptp|/apps/pptp/usr/share/pptp)
/apps/pptp/bin/pppd: error while loading shared libraries: libpcap.so.0.8: cannot open shared object file: No such file or directory

Done

How can I resolve this? Should I downgrade to another FW version?

libpcap was removed from 0.5.x.x for space reasons. Install the devtools.app.bin, it contains that missing library.

I don't use StrongVPN but Witopia instead - anyone have any insight into what would need to change to accommodate that? I tried my settings with the StrongVPN profile and I'm not having any luck connecting.

Iinstalled the devtools.app from the app manager in the web extender but I am still getting the same error. Anything else I should try?

Reboot after installing it to activate the app.bin :)

I did reboot after copying it to my USB. I thought maybe it didn't install or something so I went back into the app manager. The app manager says it is installed and enabled.

Last time I just used "reboot" from ssh. When I get home in a few hours I will cycle power, maybe that will make a difference.

Thanks for the quick replies.

Ok, so this time I did a full power cycle and I still get the following error:

Code: Select all
Starting pptp

config saved val:key => (PLUGIN_WEBDIRS,webirc|/apps/webirc/cgiirc,mt-daapd|/usr/share/mt-daapd,nzbgetweb|/usr/share/nzbgetweb,rtorrent|/usr/share/rutorrent,umsp|/usr/share/umsp)
config saved val:key => (PLUGIN_WEBDIRS,webirc|/apps/webirc/cgiirc,mt-daapd|/usr/share/mt-daapd,nzbgetweb|/usr/share/nzbgetweb,rtorrent|/usr/share/rutorrent,umsp|/usr/share/umsp,pptp|/apps/pptp/usr/share/pptp)
/apps/pptp/bin/pppd: error while loading shared libraries: libpcap.so.0.8: cannot open shared object file: No such file or directory

Done

I have devtools installed from the WebEnd Addons Manager. It says "On sda1" and Enabled is checked. Is there another version of the devtools I should be using?

Hmm, strange.

Can you run these commands and post back the output:
Code: Select all
ls -l /apps/
ldd /apps/pptp/bin/pppd
ls -l /apps/devtools/lib/libpcap.so*
