The LAM(e) firmware also makes different files in the config dir, so communicates differently with Netflix servers. I test drove the LAM(e) firwmare and had no problem watching Netflix here stateside with it, of course once I went back to my plus firmware Netflix refused to work and so began my multi week adventure on getting the damn thing activated again.
Here is a root.bin you can run, it is pure stock, and no I won't be making a special Latin American WDLXTV_PLUS--unless theres serious interest in it as I won't maintain a firmware which is not for me and serves no purpose except to eat up more of my time.

To run this from WDLXTV, telnet/ssh in and run the following:
- Code: Select all
config_tool -c ROOT_TAG=1.06.18_L
follow the guidelines on USB booting if it doesn't work for you:

My question is: to do that i need to flash WDLXTV over my device or could be possible to run that over original firmware?

Booting with the latin american firmware will let you log into netflix but it won't let you play anything
What I did was to install a VPN, I have one at an US office so for me it was no big deal, for all of you this also works
http://vpnfreedom.com/netflix/how-to-watch-netflix-outside-the-us//quote
Yeah, great article, but that article is for all the VPN's
That website is advising you hidemyass, but HMA is a high advertised VPN website. With that i mean that more people are using the same US server, so it will be very slowly.
Myself i'm using https://www.vpnaccounts.com for 3 weeks and for the speed, quality, connection and safety i give it a 10+ , so i'm more satisfied with this VPN than all the another VPN's what i've used before..
Acces to to US TV : https://www.vpnaccounts.com/watch-us-tv.html
Hope that will help you ;D
