The subtitles works with ext3 in 0.4.7.3 ?

The subtitles do not work with ext3 in 0.4.7.3 for me.

Any suggestion?

Considering that ext3 is mostly ext2 with a journal slapped on top of it, I'm still not convinced it wasn't a permission issue that was resolved when you reformatted.

Maybe you're right, but I tested it on a external hd and on two usb drives and the result was always the same until I test ext2.

Can you test? Maybe this is a real bug.

Sadly, only DMAOSD is responsible of picking up subtitles. It is picky about the subtitle names and also it is picky on filesystem types. For instance, it will not pick up valid subtitles on ftpfs, sshfs or mounted cds. It's possible that it doesn't like something about your ext3 filesystem - but it's hard to tell what.
You can redo the experiment with an ext3 filesystem mounted as ext3 and then again with ext3 filesystem mounted as ext2.

Most likely never... 0.5.1.4 is a beta release that still has some issues, when b-rad is back (December) we will continue the work were we left of and it will result in a new release (with a higher version number).
