I found a problem with the file system. When my hard drive formatted as ext3, the subtitle won't come out. If the same drive formatted as FAT32 or NTFS, that problem won't existed.

Any one know how I can fix this?

Permission issues perhaps? That's the first thing that springs to mind when you mention ext3 vs NTFS/FAT32. Some people who formatted an HDD on a Linux box ended up with way too restrictive permissions when moving the HDD to the WDTV.

Could the mods please update the original posts of this thread with info on the 0.5.1.1 release? It's really confusing to have to search through thread pages 30-something to even find download links on it. Also why not sticky this thread so at least it stays at the top of the discussion forum? It's confusing enough that there are no links to this in the firmware release forum, yet there are so many threads talking about it in the discussion forum. For example, I had no idea I needed to look in the homebrew central forum in order to find this!

I agree. But for various reasons that are too long to explain, I can't edit the original post.

The subtitles do not work with ext3 in 0.4.7.3 for me.

Any suggestion?
