WDLXTV_G2-0.4.5.3 drive doesn't mount

Postby halabut » Tue Jan 11, 2011 10:24 pm

I have WDLXTV-G2 0.4.5.3 with a 4 port USB hub, a DLink DWA-125 WiFi dongle and two WD Mybook essential drives. If I attach one disk to the hub it mounts and scans fine, if I attach the 2nd drive it mounts but doesn't scan (e.g. you can see it in telnet but not the OSD) however if I attach it to the other USB port it works fine. I've tried umounting it, and unplugging and replugging with the same result

Mount table, Big.Drive is the second drive. It has only mounted by it's name not by it's device id (D17DDC1AB51832E9 is Backup)

Re: WDLXTV_G2-0.4.5.3 drive doesn't mount

are you looking for it in local drives -> folders or in 'all videos'? This is not a bug. If you want all your devices to be scanned by media library, then create a file titled exactly: .addMounts on the first partition of each of them.
PM's are for private matters only, please post public matters on the forum to help others who might have the same issue.
