Did you even read the moviesheets guide on the wiki? Any firmware that is not 1.02.21 based requires linksheets.

i cant boot at all with this file on the flash drive:

i see the WD logo and thats all, or do i have to wait longer? i waited about 5 minutes but the OSD doesnt show up

the wdtv box is booting to OSD. but i need this, why its stuck when i use this command?

*update3* i stopped playing around with 1.01.77_WDLXTV.COM_WDLXTV_G2-0.4.7.3. its not want to boot OSD with

so i flashed back to 1.01.77_WDLXTV.COM_WDLXTV_G2-0.4.5.3 and suddenly everthing is working. hope for a fix. keep up the good work brad

Seems like Live & Plus are the focus of firmware updates at the mo, any news or plans for an update for Gen 2 ??

... in particular it would be great if DVD Menu Navigation was an added feature,

I have some home video's with menu's I'd like to use, at the moment my 'ripped' home dvd's just play from start to finish with no breaks or chapters to jump to relevant clips

Looks like neither of the links (free or members) for downloading WDLXTV-G2-0.4.7.3 works. Can someone please advise me where can I get this firmware?

is it not possible for you guys who are asking why the links are down to, oh say, read the first few posts where people claim something in the firmware bricked them?

@dbizzz: dvd menu will never come to G2, it would have to be added by WD and this device is dead & gone to them.

I have a 2.5tb elements external drive

I updated to 0.4.7.4 and it still will not detect the drive

It says no storage present. Its NTFS

Is there any firmware which will support more than 2tb drive?
