88Keyz: The recovery process worked fine off the same stick I initially attempted the 4.7.3 upgrade from. Feeling somewhat masochistic, I did attempt the 4.7.3 upgrade again, from a newly formatted Fat32 stick, with the same result.

As a note, I did try the ext3 boot version of the 4.7.3 firmware, and it works fine (though it still doesn't get me a working WIFI, but that's another issue) , just the flash one I can't seem to get to take.

try again after downgrade to 4.1.9.6 ... 4.7.3 made​​, but if I load the old S00custom player crashed the enLiven-G2 the charge but the web interface does not start .... back to 4.5.3 pending changes

I had to wait quite a while to get it to flash, be patient.

Now what u need to do is put the stock firmware on a usb and put the drive in. take a paper clip and push the reset button in for 20 seconds. the machine will restart and reload the stock firmware off the stick.

Then u can reflash.

be patient, it can take a while for this to work.

NM, I read the complete thread and found that it was causing hence the reason why B-Rad removed the file.

Just google "1.01.77_WDLXTV.COM_WDLXTV_G2-0.4.7.3.zip" . Had the same problem of hanging in WD logo just after first rebooting but before firmware upgrade procedure started. Waited 30 mins and nothing. So I've just unplugged power cable and removed usb stick from the side usb port and connected to the back usb port and plugged the power cable again. After that firmware upgrade procedure worked fine.

I was running 4.1.9.6 and I upgraded to 4.7.3 on the Gen2 box. The update worked just fine except afterwards I had lost my moviesheets. They were working fine before the update. I tried rediting the s00custom-options, but nothing seems to make them work again. I have 3 other WDTV Live boxes and I never have any troubles with those boxes because i can log into them. Im am not sure what to do to get the moviesheets working again on the gen2 box. Any ideas or suggestions?

So i downgraded back to 4.1.9-6. The moviesheets show up when i am in the bluray foler. But then when i go to the DVD folder, they do not work. I then go back to the bluray folder and the moviesheets are not working. None of them will work until I reboot the box. Then the bluray folder will show movie sheets until I enter another folder. AFter that they will not work again. I reupgraded back to 4.7.3 and now the moviesheets do not work at all. I am baffled by this because the moviesheets have either work or not worked, this seems to work sometimes and not sometimes.
