OK thanks, I'll try creating a repo as absolutely nothing I do will get the sheets to show in their own folders.

But you can check this forum topic for an app.bin that adds a webend to the G2 that was meant for the 4.5.3.x series builds that still works to some degree with 0.4.5.x.

http://forum.wdlxtv.com/viewtopic.php?f=40&t=2107

And as hinted at in the thread there is the possibility of an update for the latest 0.4.5.x firmware series.

Thought I bricked my G2 with this update. It sat at the uploading screen for well over an hour so I put the firmware on a different USB stick and unplugged the unit and when it came back on it only went to the WD logo screen and stayed there. But once I unplugged it and plugged it back in again the unit went to a recovery screen in multiple languages and I was able to upgrade from the firmware on the second USB stick. I was pretty angry at myself for a few minutes there. Especially since this update doesn't really add any functionality to the G2 from 0.4.5.1. However in the end it all worked out OK. Good to know that recovery mode is there for future reference.

Just drop the file "enLiven-G2.app.bin" on an external USB storage device (flash drive, HDD, etc.) that is connected to your G2 and reboot your device. Webend is now accessable via device name (ie. http://wdlxtv_g2) or device IP (ie. http://192.168.1.101) through your favourite web browser on your local network. Webend default login is User Name: "wdlxtv" and Password: "wdlxtv" (minus the quotes of course). You can change the default login info after you login to the device the first time.

This is just a very minor maintenance release. Not much from the Changelog applied to G2, but if you want to be up to date (and cool) then grab and flash away.

Happy New Year, time for me to head off and party :ugeek:

HI B-Rad, I have flashed my G2 with your latest firmware. I have rtl8187 but seems my device is not active since I cannot see any activity on the wireless dongle (Light is off). I have tried my wifi dongle on my laptop and it works fine.

May I ask your kind advise for any missing parameters on my net.config. I have not revised the net mounts and other attached files from my download.
Please see my net.config.

Thanks

Hi
nope umsp is not included in the firmware.
But you can get some extras (for example webend) with the enLivenG2 Plugin
It also got umsp but i think its not working atm
