thanks for the great stuff!
Maybe a stupid question, but what does it mean "* retail DVD support (!!!!!)"? Does that mean, the G2 can handle DVD menu structure? And if so, what about ISO files?

It means you can plug a USB DVD reader, insert a retail DVD in it, and you can play it, like this.

I am also having the same issue, unfortunately, because the extra support that is in this firmware is excellent!

Do you have a DTS decoder? The WDTV passes the DTS over to a receiver for 5.1 decoding.

The problem is that the wdtv should downmix to 2 channels for those who don't have a decoder...

Confirm the problem with MKV files and DTS 5.1 sound. Audio output option set to "stereo". Then I playing video files, except MKV(DTS) it is going well. But then playing MKV(with DTS) in audio stream written "DTS (Digital)" and hear nothing, no meter of audio output settings. Previously a had WDLXTV_G2-0.4.1.9 firmware and it was no problem with playind DTS 5.1 on stereo system (HDMI).

P.S. Sorry for my English. And thanks for your great work!

I can't get the damn moviesheets to show up now.
Is this still out of the G2 firmware, or has the naming conventions changed since I last used them?

Akira (folder)
/Akira.mkv
/Akira.jpg
/Akira.mkv_sheet.std.jpg

std enabled in S00options, moviesheet lower than 500kb etc. etc.....
