exFAT file system

Why wdlxtv non read an hard disk with exFAT file system?
For OSX users is important (ntfs not write)

I don't think the current kernel on the WDTV supports exfat. As a matter of fact, I don't know if exfat is supported by linux at all (last I read there were some licensing issues from microsoft which prevented open-source development of an exfat driver - but I might be wrong). However, the WDTV should be able to read HFS+ volumes (native OSX format). I don't know if it can write to them though...

I agree that exFAT should be supported as most USB sticks come formatted this way - it works on MAC, LINUX (with pkg) and WINDOWS - a definite PLUS if it can be added to WDXLTV.
